This could be from a bruise or tiny broken blood vessels in her udder, tinging the milk with blood, especially if she was down alot and laying right on her udder. Tell them to be gentle in milking, she won't give alot after a bout with milk fever. It could take a week or more for her calcium levels to truly normalize and for her to start producing more milk. But also watch for signs of mastitis, clumpy stringy or mucusy milk, fever or heat in the udder. Lots of does have "pink milk" right at the beginning of lactation from over full udders, a bruise from when they were kidding, or tender teats being bruised by vigorous kids or less than gentle milking. Be sure the owner is milking properly. If they are pinching the top of the teat and pulling their fingers down it (stretching the teat) to milk they are causing the bruising and pink milk.
