The afterbirth will hang around for a few hours.

In December we purchased a doe, not knowing until recently that she was expecting, she was not acting right lastnight, came out about 2 hours ago, and found a very small baby that did not make it, the mom still has afterbirth in view. We are not sure if she may still have another in her. It's been awhile since we last had a little one, and can't remember how it went. Not sure how long the afterbirth was visable before.
