What are the temps? Be sure to insert the thermometer 1.5 to 2 inches or the temp won't be accurate.

It sounds like pasteurella. Is the nasal mucus yellowish or greenish? This would indicate a bacterial infection.

I like to use Naxcel (this is a prescription you have to get it from a vet) and give 1 cc per 50 pounds by SQ injection twice a day for at least 5 days. Tylan 200 can be used too and it is available by mail order. This is given at 1 cc per 20 pounds by SQ injection once a day for 5 days. You can try penicillin or oxytetracycline if those are all you can get, but there is alot of resistacne to these drugs now. The dose for penicillin is 1 cc per 15 pounds by SQ injection for 5 days, the dose for oxytet is 1 cc per 30 pounds by SQ injection for 5 days.

You can give Liquid Children's Motrin Cold Formula at 1 cc per 10 pounds every 4 to 6 hours to help tem feel better, but this won't cure the infection.

I have found that proper mineral supplementation especially getting high enough copper in their diets go a long way toward strong immune systems and a dramatic decrease of respiratory infections. Look for a loose mineral mix with at least 900 to 1500 ppm copper. I use a loose mineral mix for beef cattle for my goats and it has worked very well.
