Hi, You need to give 3cc of 500mg of Thiamin SQ I do this every 6 hours so as close as you can get to this schedule the better of she will be. I give 1cc/20 lbs on Penicillin every 6 hours but in this case it takes larger amounts of Penicillin so I go with 10cc/100 lbs sq. Give both of these on the same schedule as the Thiamin. Make sure she is eating and drinking even if you have to drench her. Please get back to me ASAP. Barbara Howard jamesa@mrtc.com 606-522-3388 KY

Hi, This goatwalking sideways sure sounds like Listeria give her the meds that I answer you with early today. Give 1cc/30 lbs orally Penicillin every 6 hours for 24 Give her 500mg of Thiamin on the schedule as the Pen. Now the deer worm can make them weak and easy for the other goats to knock her down. Treament for this is 1cc/30 lbs.Ivomec injectable given orally once a day for 3 days and then Safeguard 8cc/100 lbs orally also. Barbara Howard jamesa@mrtc.com 606-522-3388 KY

Hi, This doe has some symptoms of Lister. Let me ask you some questions. Does this doe drool ? Doe she walk a little sideways or go in circles. Have you noticed any rapid eye movement. Do you have any white tail deer there? Do you have a temp on her. Is she up to date on CD&T vaccinates. Haw do her inner eyelid and gums look. Has she be wormed lately if so what with and how much. Get back to me ASAP Barbara Howard jamesa@mrtc.com 606-522-3388 KY
