It does sound like she is very constipated. She is really too young to have an infection especially since her temperature is fine. So she won't need the Biosol or the penicillin. Try another enema add some oil to it for lubrication. If she is a regular sized kid you can give 12 to 20 cc for the enema. I give my 3 pound pygmies about 6 to 8 cc. It will take 24 hours for any oil given by mouth to work through her system and that would have to mean that she will have to start to poop. I have a three day old doe kid that is in pain. She will be fine a min then the next is screaming and kicking. I don't know if it is a tummy bug or digestive problem. her temp is fine. she is breathing heavy and i dont know if she has pass her first and second poop. she does have yellow and black poop on tail but i cant be certain it is hers or her brother. I gave her 1 cc of penicillian, 15cc of goat serum, 2cc of biosol, and a 9cc emenia. i treating her for the bug and the her rear in clogged up. im new so i dont know what to do. im going to try and give her some oil and see if she will poop. |
