Just gave him the Thiamin - I think I saw that he needs this 4 times today. Will check the other thread. Thank you for the responses. | ||

Hi Glenda, I would also start him on thiamin, 1cc per 20lbs. If you don't have straight thiamin, you can use fortified Vit.B which has the same miligrams of thiamin. Or the Vit.B complex, but you will need to dose for the thiamin and it contains alot less. Can't really overdose as they get rid of any excess in the urine. I have a Billy that I found on his side tonight. Sat him up gave him hay and he eats. Did not drink water. After eating he stood but very shakey. No diarreha. But fresh stool nearby. Gave him a dose of Ivermectin. He has sunken sides just under his backbone near his hips, also seems to have distended belly. What can I do to help him? |
