I tell you what I have never seen this many hornets. I am one my way to give her some bendryl tab mashed in some applesauce. I think the epi is out dated everyone one was out when I ordered new meds this summer. Anyhow thanks Maggie by the way nice article in the UCN Kerrie |

Give 1 cc per 10 pounds of the cold med or benadryl. Give this every 4 hours or so for about 24 hours. After that she and you should be on the mend. You did good to think of the cold med, that's keeping your head! Find your epinephrine! Likely if you can't find it it is out of date or no good anyway. It should be refrigerated or it goes bad. |

I have a 2.5 yr doe about 125 -+ We were in the pasture and both of us got attacked by hornets, her much worse because she could not get away. I gave her 5 mm of motrin cold med for kids, I know that is not enough and am going to go give 5mm more. I was in a hurry and that is what I could think of giving her. Her breathing is labored, and she is panting from the pain is all I hope, I drank from the goat med bottle and have taken some allergy meds but still feel shaky and hurt everywhere. Should I give her something else I couldn't find my bottle of epinephrine. |
