Give all the other does and your buck(s) LA 200 at 1 cc per 30 pounds by SQ injection every other day for 3 treatments. This will often stop an abortion storm caused by chlamydia. I think there may be sheep vaccine for chlamydia that may help. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic | ||

One of my does with pinkeye gave birth two weeks early tonight...2 doelings but I don't know if they will make it. Both have short fine hair, no teeth, and breathe with mouths open. The terramycin has cleared up the eyes of all infected does but how do I keep my other bred does from aborting? This was a first time freshener tonight. I have read the older does may be more resistant. Is it a certainty that they will abort. Two are due in Feb., one in March, one in April. Will the LA200 injections stop this? Will they abort during their next pregnancies? Is there any way to vaccinate to avoid Pinkeye and the abortions? I am heartbroken! |
