Congrats on the new baby! With our wether that foams we found that feeding well soaked feed really helps alot.

Stan Leigh is a father again..... this time we got us a beautiful boy.
His teeth are good!! At this time he is no longer foaming. But also getting warm and the grasses are growing.

I have a 3 or 4 yo intact buck (Pigmy)that is constantly Foaming at the mouth. He is eating well and drinking. Did have an eye infection but with a little Pen has cleared. (the foaming started b4 the eyes and is continuing) Could this be normal? Stan Leigh has been a challenge since he was given to me 1.5 years ago. Never been "normal” But never sick. I really don’t want to loose him since he throws awesome babies (all have been girls so no little Stan's to carry on. Not a one has had any problems. So....... does anyone know what would cause him to Foam? He is up to date on all shots.

I have a wether that does the same thing. Its bad teeth, probably misaligned (pretty common with pygmies) and he foams because he swallows feed or hay whole, causing a partial blockage until he throws it back up. if you have a good vet you may be able to check his teeth, pull any rotten ones and float any with sharp points that may be digging into his gums or cheeks.
