Lutalyse is quite safe, much better than a pregnancy at this age. What it does is cause a doe to go into heat if she is not pregnant and to abort if she is (but this early on it will just look like a normal heat cycle). Wait at least 10 days, 2 to 3 weeks is better, then give all three does 2 to 3 cc by IM or SQ injection. Do it again 10 days later, to be absolutely sure any doe that may be pregnant, no longer is. What you will likely see is 5 little does come into raging heat. On close observation any that are (were) pregnant may have a little bloody discharge. This drug can be given at any stage of pregnancy to terminate that pregnancy. The further along the doe is the harder it is on her just like any abortion. You have to get this drug from a vet, be sure to get enough to do the job. Also be very careful about spilling any on yourself, especially if you may be pregnant, it can be absorbed through the skin. Be prepared for these 3 does to come into raging heat 12 to 36 hours after you treat them. They may try to repeat their adventure and can become pregnant.

Hello everyone,
I have 3 five month old Boer does that went through the fence to get to my breed buck yesterday. They were only in with him for a couple of hours or so, but I know atleast one of them is in heat. So I'm not positive that he bred even one of them but I worry what could happen to my does if he did. I read some info on using lutalyse(hope i spelled it right), but I'm not sure of the side affects on a doe that young or what I should expect when I give it to them. Please advise, I don't want these beautiful girls to be pregnant, but nervous about giving a drug I know nothing about.
Thanks

Candy
