Thanks. I had her penned by herself to watch her because she was limping and seemed so pitiful, but she's back with the herd now, and she is up and moving around a little better today. She will probably deliver sometime this week, so we'll be watching her closely.

It won't hurt but the first sign of hypocalcemia and pregnancy toxemia is a lack of appetite. Do make sure she gets up regularly and gets some exercise.

I have a doe due anytime now, she was bought already bred so I don't know her exact due date, but she's having a mucus show and her tail ligaments are very soft. I had to trim her back hooves about 4 days ago because she was walking on her pasterns. I accidentally quicked her, not very bad, but she's still limping and holding that foot up. She is also staying down a lot, to the point that I am worried about hypocalcemia. She's still eating well and pooping normal. Would it hurt to give her some crushed Tums?
