Cydectin can leave a funny taste like garlic because of the carrier used (its like DMSO). 10 cc of cydectin is enough for a 200 pound goat (recommended dose is 1 cc per 10 to 20 pounds). She will probably be okay but do watch the dosages on your meds. Mnay dewormers are very safe even at very high dosages but both cydectin and tramisol have been implicated in severe problems if highly overdosed (more than 3 times the recommended dose...)

A goat with severe worms does not start looking better the next day or even the next week after deworming. First you have killed all the worms and they ALL turn lose of the instestinal and stomach linings leaving a bleeding wound behind. The stomach and intestines are very damaged and that has to start to heal and the bleeding has to stop. It can then take 2 to 6 months for the healing to be complete and for the iron in her blood to be normal again.

Proper mineral supplementation with adequate copper (900 to 1500 ppm in her loose mineral mix), giving ferrodex (an injectable iron supplement) and good nutrition will help her recover more quickly.

Randall,

How much does this goat weigh? 10 cc's of Cydectin is alot if she is a small goat. That would not worry me as much as knowing how much Tramisol you administered to her. This specific wormer has to be administered in EXACT proportion to the weight of the goat, otherwise they can overdose on the wormer.

Did this condition showup before or after you administered the Tramisol? Please get back to us with further specific information about her condition.

Best regards,
