Yes SQ means giving an injection under the skin rather than into the muscle. Giving a goat oral antibiotics kills the vital digestive microbes so nearly all antibiotics and many other meds are given by SQ injection. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic

My 12 week old buck has had a thick mucous discharge from his nose. Is he getting sick? I want to catch it before he gets really sick. He acts fine in every other way. Can I give him LA 200 or penecillen? I will take his temp when I get home from work today. Thanks for the advise. |
