You need to use the pouron at 2 to 3 times the cattle dose by weight, most white dewormers don't work for goats anymore. Be sure she has access to a quality goat mineral with enough copper in it (900 to 1800 ppm). Feed a quality hay and maybe a grain ration (start this slowly if she hasn't been getting any grain). Hi, I have a nanny that gave birth to one really big kid, bigger then normal. She raised him just fine, however she is unusually skinny and her frint leg kind of walks with a limp ina circualry motion. I took the kid off her and she seems a little better, however still no real weight gain. I have wormed her with the cattle pour on and the white wormer. I have given her vitamin B injection. I dont know what else to do to put weight back on her. |
