Won't hurt to give it to the other does. Wait at least one cycle (30 days or so) before breeding the does that aborted, they need a good chance to clean out. Treat them too they could still be carrying chlamydia. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic

Thank you everyone for the information. Should we give it to our does that are not bred? They are 7-8 months old? And can we breed the does back or should we wait a while? Thanks again! K |

Bio-Mycin does not sting and LA-200 does, with that many injections you will appreciate that. I think the goats will appreciate it also |

This could be chlamydia abortion, especially if the goats were in late gestation. You can give all the other pregnant does and your buck oxytetracycline (LA 200 or Biomycin 200) at 1 cc per 30 pounds by SQ injection every other day for 3 treatments. This may help stop it in any of the other does. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic

Help! We have had 2 goats miscarry in the past 2 months. They act healthy and then one day we notice spotting and then its over. Is there something we should look for in our other does? They are fed normal with proper minerals and very healthy does that kid fine for us last year. The buck is the same buck as used last year and he is 1-1/2 yrs old. Thank you for anything you can help us with. We don't want this going through our herd. |
