Give the Sulmet once a day. Go ahead and give him his milk. Milk replacer is a poor substitute for natural goats milk or even whole cows milk and never really a first choice (just saw the bit about going to milk replacer...).

Last night I gave the buck kid the Sulmet and some gatorade and this morning he was already doing better. I gave it to him again this morning. Do I do the Sulmet once or twice a day? When should I give milk again? He wants it now but for today I want to continue with the gatorade. I hope I caught this in time. Yesterday I wasn't very hopeful but today hes so much better. Thanks again for all your help.

Sometimes milk can cause diarrhea. Its your call. But he needs to eat something, or at least drink water or electrolytes.

No fever. Went to the fair tonight and met some goat people. Been raising goats for 30 years. I was told NOT to give any milk for a few days. Only electrolytes. Then go to a milk replacer for a few days. Have you ever heard of this? Should I give the Sulmet once or twice a day? Thanks for all your help.
