Hi I am so glad she is feeling better. Just a taste of grain won't hurt. I would do the full 5 days with the albon . Barbara Howard Capri-Medic jamesa@mrtc.com 606-522-3388 KY

Thank you very much... I had a hunch he was not correct with the albon and I am glad you responded before I said something to a friend that uses it for prevention. The little doe is doing well tonight. The vet said take her off all grain. they do not get "much" grain and I let her have a little (is that o.k.?) I would love to not do the whole week of albon , what is your take on that? carlene Jn 3:16

Albon doens't set the goat up for polio Corrid is the one that does that because it is a thiamin reducer. You will need to give her a teaspoon of mineral oil mix with gatorade and drench it down her and massage her both sides of her tummy ans don't let her lay on her side keep her up on her sterun. thanks Maggie... I forgot to say that I also gave her probiotics. Her membranes are a good pink. Her brother had coccidia when much younger. She is starting to pick on hay... I did give Albon per the vet but any feedback is very welcome... (learning learning learning)... The vet said that Albon sometimes sets goats up for Goat Polio (is that your experiance?) I know breeders that use it prophylactically (sp?). Blessings carlene Jn 3:16

Are her eye membranes pale or white? If so the herbal dewormer may not be working. You may need to go to ivermectin or cydectin or synanthic. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic

I have a 10 week old doeling that is bloated on her left side, has diarrhea and is not eating. This is what I did... (she doesn't have a fever)... I gave toxiban, 5cc C&D antitoxin subQ, and herbal wormer. My question is , will Albon hurt her at this point? She seems a little alert but certainly is still dealing with it. thanks carlene Jn 3:16
