Of course. But since she hasn't kidded in years that would be pretty low on my list. The penicillin would help with that too.

The straining to urinate makes me also tend to think bladder infection. Of course she could have both, especially if (with age) she contaminates her vulva or vagina when she defecates.

I would think bladder infection. You can give penicillin at 1 cc per 20 pounds by SQ injection twice a day for 5 days.

Yesterday morning I noticed that my 8 year old doe had a bloody discharge coming from her vulva. She seems to be straining to urinate but she will stand not squat. She seems fine in other ways, she is moving, eating and drinking. She seems uncomfortable but not in serious pain. She has not had a kid in many years. She does seem to be rubbing up against things a lot. Could this be complications from a parasite? Thanks for any help.
