Do let her lay down. You only ned to get her up 4 to 5 times a day.

You could have her xrayed to assess the damage.

Yes she can pee and poop. To my suprise. The moment we got her off of the ground in her sling she went pee. I was very happy to see that. She is hungry all the time, and is bright eyed. This little girl is ready for the fight and isn't ready to quit.
What should I do to help her? Is there any thing? Or just let her hang out and see what happens?
Thanks. Alex Staley

There is hope, but if she isn't better in those 2 or 3 days then hope really begins to fade. Can she pee and poop by herself? Sometimes this ability is lost too...Easy on the banamine she only needs 0.1 cc per 10 pounds. More than that greatly increses the risk of digestive tract ulcers.

Went out last night to feed and found one of my week old Boer doelings under a wood pallet. She escaped from her pen and must have been running and playing and bumped into it. She is full of life, but cannot get her back end up. She has feeling in her right leg and tries to get it under herself to walk. Her left one is the problem, will not respond. She is starting to move it, but cannot get it under herself. The base of her tail is swollen, and her tail will not go up. when you touch her tail she cries. Currently we have her in a dog crate with a home made sling keeping her in the air so that her legs hang down. She drinks out of a bottle fine.
We gave her Banimine last and tonight gave her 1/2 cc banamine and 1/2 cc Dexamethasone.
Is this a lost cause? Is there anything I can do for her?
Please let me know. My mom is going to give her 2 or 3 days. Please let me know if there is any hop for this girl.
Thank you so much.
