Barbara, No there is no hair loss. They move around you can push them together or have them be an inch or two apart. Thank you everyone for any advise. We will try to get a picture of them today. Thanks. K

Sure doesn't sound like it. CL abscesses are almost always attached to a lymph node and don't roll around. Keep an eye on them but if they aren't bothering her don't worry too much...

They change position like a marble under the carpet. They are on her neck not on her face or below her ear, thats whey i didn't think it was cl. They are not soft they are hard and move around under the skin. Can this still be CL?

Thanks Kellie

Can you post or send me a picture? Do you mean they are soft and squishy or do they change positions like a marble under carpeting?

I would keep her isolated for now to see if they develop into ripe abscesses. If they are abscesses she should stay isolated until they rupture or are lanced, drain and heal completely. You can have you vet take a look and culture the pus (if they are abscesses) to see if it is CL.

I have a yealing doe with two quarter size lumbs in her neck, they move around when you touch them. She is eating fine and does not seem to be in pain. She is just a little lonely because I isolated her from the rest of the herd. Is this something to worry about? Kellie
