Check for lung worms, Sometimes goats cough when they run around if they have Lung Worms. Good luck Also check your county extention for abnormal but found in your area diseases, such as CWD or anyother insect transmittable virus or disease. |

Since he has no fever an antibiotic won't help as he likely does not have an infection. Benedryl only treats symptoms it does not cure a problem. But you can try it giving 1 cc per 10 pounds every 6 hours. If it helps his problem is probably an allergy and he will likely outgrow it. Benedryl can cause lethargy. I have a 36 day old boer. When he runs he has a wheezy cough or whistling cough. Should i give him some benedryll, or some antibiotic. He has no fever, and full of energy. thank you |
