Hi This little guy does he stand hunched up with his head and tail down if so he is starving. Any diarrhea? Laying and crying with his head back and crying alerts me that he could have Enterotoxemia was his momma up to date on CD-T. Do you have CD-ANTI TOXIN? Does he have any signs of bloat? Also are their any signs of scouring? Sometimes the change of milk can affect their digestive systems, but most of ours have usually recoverd after a few days. How long has he been acting this way? |

What is his temp? 101.5 to 103.5 is the normal range. My little pygmy buck is recovering from pneumonia which started with his being just a "little off." Has he been wormed, you mentioned mom and the rest of the herd? |

we have a set of 7 week old twins, a doe and a billy, doe doing fine, and the billy since yesterday isn't acting like "normal" he is eating, drinking, chewing, but lays around a lot, yells out some, lastnight he was laying with his head over his back, not normal for him, he isn't eating as much as he was, his mom hasn't had much milk lately, so we started with goat milk replacer, Land O' Lakes, the mom was wormed as the rest of the herd about two months ago, does not act wormy, just not very active, stands sometimes with his head down, wants to be held, I should say these are all pygmy goats, they are all pets, named and act like puppies, we also rescue goats but this was not a rescue situation, any ideas we would really appreciate it, THANK YOU |
