Safeguard is not particularly effective against internal parasites and does nothing for external ones. You might try Ivomec Injectable for Cattle and Swine at 1 cc per 25 pounds given orally. You might also dust or use a lice pour on for external parasites. Zinc and copper deficiency can lead to hair loss and a skin condition called dermatophilus (this can look like rainrot sores). Ringworm a fungul infection can lead to bare patches of different sized. These lesions are roughly circular and can be crusty around the edges. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic

My 4 year old Whether Pygmy Mix is having some sort of weird thing going on with his fur -hes shedding down to the skin in large areas of random places such as underneith his belly, his front check and neck area, etc. I tried worming him today(Last month I wormed him with Safeguard) thinking its parasites. Please help, is he really ill? |
