If the formula you are using has soy or wheat protein and not all milk protein it is not suitable for goats. Most milk replacers sold at feed stores are just usch milk replacers, they are ALOT cheaper than the all milk protein ones. I recommend using this formula found on the Articles page: 1 gallon milk (homogenized 4% whole milk)) 1 can evaporated milk (NOT SWEETENED CONDENSED) 1 cup buttermilk Take the gallon of milk, and pour out about 1/3...set aside Pour into the gallon, 1 can evaporated milk, and 1 cup buttermilk..... then pour to the top of the gallon of milk what you set aside..... Try feeding a bit less and more often if you can, especially during the first 2 to 3 weeks. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic
