Given a bit of time the injury should heal. I would keep milking.

She does have a very large udder - she produces quite a bit of milk - and it does swing quite a bit when she walks or runs. I thought she might be injuring it during the day because it gets worse when she is up moving around and her milk seems to be pretty clear in the morning after she has been in her pen lying down.
Is there anything I can do to help her keep from injuring it more? Should I stop milking her?
Thanks for the help.

Does she have a big pendulous udder that hangs down below her hocks? A poorly attached udder is more prone to injury like being bumped when going in and out of a door or over logs and such. She may have been butted in the udder. It could be she has stepped on it.

I have a nubian doe that we have been milking since she gave birth in March. For the last week she has had blood in her milk. She does not seem to be feeling much discomfort and has no problem with me milking her. I have been very gentle when milking her and have been milking her out three times per day since I noticed the pink tinge. We gave her cefa-lak and LA 200 for mastitis, but I feel that something else may be going on. She seems to have just a little blood in the milk in the morning and by the evening milking there seems to be a lot more in the milk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
