Thanks to both of you, I will look for the book and am headed to Atwoods which is the only place open on Sunday around here....I will get the lowest protein I can find, then mix down from there if I can't find anything less than 18%....I h ope she does have some dairy quality, I am a cheese and soap maker....if I could get some milk from her for that occasionally, I would lobe it, but we are animal lovers here and will make her a good home....I will work a little at a time on correcting those hooves until I get them the best shape I can.....when you see her from the side she really has a roman nose and Nubian shape to her head...her swishy little tail I think definitely Boer!!! I do have to get her a goat buddy, she has taken up with my husband and follows him everywhere...Thanks for all you help, I just want to prevent any lameness if I can.
