Put them out on their new forage for a limited amount of time to start, like an hour or so each day slowly increasing the time. Let them kind of fill up on hay before putting them out on the pasture (kudzu). Show goats travel all the time with minimal stress, you wiull probably be very surprised how well goats travel.

A little loose or clumpy stool should be considered normal. Also consider deworming everyone a day or two before the move to carry as few parasites with you as possible. Then deworm again 2 weeks after getting to the new home. A probiotic for a day or so before the move and a day or so after too to help keep those digestive microbes up. Go easy on grain right before and after the move too until everyone looks to be settling in.

Thank you. One more question. This will be new to their diet and also a new environment for them. Is there anything that I should do to help them transition? I'm concerned about scouring from diet change and stressing them with the change of environment. They will be traveling for about 6 hours to their new home.

Absolutely! That is what Gary (of Goatworld) originally got his goats for. You probably should still give hay and you will have to give hay in the winter when the kudzu is leafless.

Can goats eat kudzu vine? We are looking at property for our goat herd and the pasture is overgrown with kudzu. If they can eat it, will they need hay supplement until the vine is down enough for the ground to support grass? Thannks
