Sorry you will have to refresh my memory about "your problem". Two new babies have no symptoms of what? Switched the kids from what to the recipe? The doe will get used to being milked if you are using the right technique. If you are pinching the top of the teat and then pulling your closed fingers down her teat to milk I can certainly understand her hating it. To milk by hand properly you clost the top fo teh teat off by gently squeezing it in the crook of your thumb and first finger, then roll your fingers one by one down the teat without pulling to push teh milk out of the orifice. Release and start over. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic

Maggie, new problem, one our does now has the same problems, and she is expecting in about a month, the same eye problems as we have had, she does not want to eat much or stand or drink much, we now have her inside, we also have two new babies by another mom, so far no symptoms, and also one more question, we now switched and went with the formula recipe and they hate that, and we keep milking the mom and she hates that also any ideas, Thank you Jan |
