Don't worry if he skips one meal, some of mine skip their morning meal. Try him again later. If he skips the next meal investigate further. Watch for bloat but if he was bloated he would be very uncomfortable and not running and playing. If he has started on solid food it could be he just isn't all that hungry right now. This is strange, he's always ready for the bottle but this morning he does'nt want it. He does not act sick , he is running around in the pen acting his normal self, playing and jumping and following the big kids but wont nurse. He looks full, he has hay in with him of the night, do you think he could have just eaten some hay and be full or could he be starting to bloat? |
