Scours in an adult doe is usually worms. Check her lower inner eyelid by pulling the eyelid down with your thumb. The inner surface should be a deep rosy or salmon pink. If it is pale pink or white she is anemic from worms. Kidding causes dormant worms to become active.

I recommend using Ivomec (or a generic) Injectable for Cattle, give it ORALLY to goats at 1 cc per 25 pounds (about 3 times the cattle dose by weight). Give for 2 days than repeat in 2 weeks. Check all of your goats, where one is having a problem they all are likely wormy just not as sick yet. This dewormer is very safe even at very high overdoses you must be absolutely sure to give enough.

I have a yearlind doe that lost a kid about 2 weeks ago. I found her today acting like she did not feel good and she has the scours. What can i give her to help her feel better. She does not have a fever and her bag is almost dry from her lost kid. Any suggestions would be great
