I would lean towzrd a uterine infection and maybe going through a normal het cycle recently has started the discharge up again....Check her for anemia to be sure this isn't a touch of mucusy diarrhea. I do know they poop laying down and teh end of the poop may be mucusy if they have worms or something, or maybe the pasture is getting lush?

Just to add to the previous post, after re-reading what I had written, I made it sound almost as though a discharge from being in heat or bred; which it is not. The discharge, runny, yellowish stuff is in the long hairs on her back hind leg, off to the side of her vulva area. It is wet as though she has been lying in wetness or peed on herself. She has been having this wetness for about 4 days now. Thanks for any advice. I know it can't be wetness from wet dirty bedding or anything, because I keep my barn bedded and cleaned out pretty well. Had 2 young January bucks in with the does, but have recently taken them out and separated them, and she was still like that this morning.

Hard to say where the discharge is coming from. For either a urinary tract infection or uterine infection penicllin at 1 cc per 20 pounds twice a day by SQ injection should help. A 2 to 3 cc shot of lutalyse (also a SQ injection) may help her clean out. It works only if she is having heat cycles. The most reliabel way to give it is to give a first injection of lutalyse then repeat it in 10 days.

I have a 2 year old boer doe that has been having a yellowish orange tint of liquidy stuff on her backside around her vulva area. It almost looks as though she is urinating on herself while laying down, but I have never had one to look like this, so I'm at a loss of what it could be. She had a kid back in December, and I have recently sold her, she had a difficult birth with her and had to have the vet try to clean the afterbirth out vaginally. the vet gave her an antibiotic up inside of her. Could she be getting an infection up in there now? Sorry, but I have not took her temp as of yet. I will do so when I have time later today. She is eating and acting fine, other than this odd looking discharge of sorts. I wonder if a shot of lutalyse would help, maybe, to clean her out? If there is an infection of the bladder or her insides, what would the medicine of choice be?
