Deb I wanted to let you know I spoke with a friend of mine that raises goats and is very knowledgable about meds. conditioning and diseases. She felt that there is a very good chance he had overeating disease. One of the first symptoms of it is the runny poops (can't spell the d word). Often times if not caught right away it can kill within 24 hrs. She also said something as small as a slight change of feed can bring it on for some goats. I also asked about the west nile and she said there is no vaccine for goats but as far as she knew it was not something that ruments can catch. Hope this helps.
