I have a friend who came home from vacation to 6 new kids. Newbians. One doe had a set of twins, a doe and a buck..The buck is fine, but she is concerned about the doe. She said she went out this morning and she was lolling her head around and tilting over to the side when she walked.
She is bottle feeding her, as her twin brother is a "milk hog". She gave her a shot of Penicillan and is watching her closely. I am not exactly sure how old the kid is, I would say under a week, I am waiting for her to let me know. Does anyone have any suggestions?
This is so weird because the same thing happened to our buck Bill E Jack, except he also had the problems w/no motion in his back legs..and he was pretty bad, so I am not sure it is even the same thing. Then Eris started showing signs of it, but I quickly gave her doses of Penicillan and the B Complex, and she was fine. Wonder is something is going around here?
