So sorry for this loss. When I had to make the decision to put down Bear it was so hard. He had followed me through many homes and even made a trip to Philly for 9 months with me. It's been almost 5 years and I still miss him. I took my son Caleb with me because when I decided to do there was no turning back. My vet came out looked at Bear said it's time, did it, gave me a hug and just walked away no charge, it was hard on him too. I got in the truck and Caleb said don't cry Mommy and gave me his pacifier. Must have been some site a 20 some odd year old women driving a truck with a baby on her side and a fi fi in her mouth. Sorry to ramble cherish the memories we are all here for you. ((((((HUGS))))))
