Self-sucking Doe

Do any of have experience with a doe that is a self sucker? I am wondering if this is what is happening with a first time freshener. She is within two weeks of freshening and suddenly one side of her udder is amazingly smaller than the other!!!!!I have not seen her doing this or any other goat assisting her. I am applying vicks to her udder in an attempt to discourage anyone her or whoever is responsible from sucking. Do you guys have any other ideas. This is a beautiful Registered Nubian Doe that my son would like to show and this would ruin her for that. I would like to nip this in the bud quickly.
