yes that is exactly what happened in my case. They were little nubs..that left one small hole and one huge hole!!

Gary suggested that maybe when mine was disbudded it was done too close to the sinus cavity, but my vet said no, that this happens on occasion (not sure if he was trying to cover up for what his vet partner did or not)..
