I just read an article on "up to the minute goat news". A black bear attacked/killed some pet goats in Aspen, Colorado. I didn't think that black bears attacked other animals. I thought that they were herbivores??? Anyone out there know if this is common for black bear, or could it be just an isolated case. If this is the norm for the black bear, now I have another thing to worry about besides the coyotes. Black bears are returning to the Catskill Mountains of upstate NY. Several sitings have been reported in my area. Ehhhh.
