Old Goat

We have this old goat that I don't care what we did for her she wouldn't gain any weight. She is a thin as a rail. We have wormed her and deloused her and today I gave her a bath. She looks pretty nice and eating like crazy. But on this last monday Lyman came and got me up and told me to come help. This old skinny goat was trying to have a baby!! Who would have thought?! But the baby is alive a well, and the mother is doing ok now too. Maybe by some odd chance she will gain weight now. She has been like this since before we bought her and never could figure it out. But we didn't get rid of her because Lyman "liked" her. Well, now we have a baby nanny out of her. The first one since we owned her. So Surprises happen all over I guess. "smile" Our yearlings started having baby's also so we have some cuties again.
