I am not sure about giving it to pregnant does we try to give them as little meds as possible when they are pregnant. As far as having problems with the others I have not had any. On occasion one of my lambs will get a lump where the vac. took place but I don't believe the goats ever have. And no it will not prevent the cyst from developing it could be a CL lump a blood test or test of the lumps contents will tell you for sure. In Michigan the test will take about a week and run $40 +.
