Dalice, I just came back and re-read your message. When Nicholas had Cocci, it was a slow recovery, and even after he recovered he was a lot smaller than his brothers. Nicholas and his brothers are and were 100% pure blood boars. He was one of quads, one of the kids died, and Billy Jack and Billy Bob fed off the dam and Nicholas was bottle fed. After the Cocci disaster, Nick always progressed slower than his brothers, his horns were also brittle, and a lot smaller. Even though he recovered, according to the vet, I am still not convinced that having the Cocci is not one of the reasons for his death. I mean it damages the internal organs you know.
One thing I do know is that even if you have a goat with Cocci, the stunted growth does not effect their ofspring.
