What a day Saturday, my little 2 month old doe that had ear mites didn't look so good Saturday morning, her ears looked better but around her eyes looked awful they had been watery the day before and red around the edges it looks like the hair is off around her eyes too. I took her to the vet and she couldn't find any mites or lice she thought she had pink eye, I forgot to tell you she also had a snotty nose Saturday morning when I got her to the vet her temp was 105. she told me to give her penncillin and biomycin and ivomec in case she did have mites I had all of this at home so she told me to give it to her at home it would be alot cheaper. she is in with 3 other small goats one of them I think has ear mites now and one watery eye tonight so I gave them all a shot of ivomec tonight and gave the one with the watery eye a shot of biomycin. I think it is this crazy weather we are having it rained all weekend and there is a chance of frost tonight no wander these little does are getting sick.
It seems like they just get over one thing and something else happens with them, hopefully they are all on the mend now.
