Toxo is caused by an orginism in cat poop. The cats use the bedding in the barn for a litter box. Once the doe has Toxo she is imune to it. Kittens are the main carriers of this disease this was the first year we have had kittens in our barn. It causes does to reabsorb, have abortions late term, also it calcifies the placenta so if babies are born they are weak and small. The calcification of the bag also makes it harder for the kid/lamb to break the bag so even if they survive the birth if you are not right there they often times die.
