Hi Linda:

Thank you so much for telling me that. It makes me feel a little bit better. Eris seems to be back to her normal self..including her apetite (spelling??) so I think I am going to go ahead and put all the does together again. When Jessie kids, I will seperate her for a few days w/her kid. I wish Mike had the time to finish the goat extention, but until he finishes this semester of night school which is in another 5 weeks..I am going to have to make due. There is a second room in the goat house that I can block off for her and the baby..for a few days.

As I said I don't mind keeping the bucks seperate..they really are not a problem...plus we only have one calf left, the other 3 went back last week..and believe it or not..he is kind of close to the bucks..LOL..Won't let him near the babies, afraid he might trample them.

The vet told me this..like I said, he has goats, and he also has LaMancha's (which is what Eris is) He said that I should not worry about the bucks breeding her again until fall..because she won't breed until then again. He said that Spanish and Boers will breed more often (jessie is spanish) but what I didn't ask him is how soon after they kid do you have to wait to breed them again.

So what is your feeling on that???
