Leah, not sure if you have read my posts below about our doe just giving birth. If you hadn't we had the same problem, except our doe had to have a c-section, we could not get the other leg free, neither could the vet. He was stuck hanging out of his mamma with his head and only one leg out, for close to one hour, between Mike being on the phone w/the vet, us getting over to the vet, then the vet trying, before he was born by the c-section.
Our little one had the same problem with the leg, but after about 2 days he was fine..he is 1 week old today, and jumping and running around like crazy..thankfully (smile). I was also concerned, because it seemed as though he could not find his mamma's teat. Then again, any time he head butted her, she backed off. So we bottle fed him for close to 2 days, until he would not take the bottle from us..(from the first time we bottle fed him, he was not too crazy about it..but he did catch on to the sucking pretty quick) we then watched closely, and noticed that he finally found the teat, and she was finally allowing him to nurse.
I agree with what Dalice said, just keep an eye on him, make sure he is pooping etc..and check to see if his belly is full. Congrads on your new baby!
