We too have had a run of pinkeye. 3 of 8 goats. We also have very young goats (less than 6 mos. old). We ran across some really helpful info on this site in the section on goat health. What worked best for us was a combination of biomycin injections on day one, four and seven. Then we used a spray bottle with vinegar and water to irrigate the eye twice a day, Followed by antibiotic ointment in the eye after the rinse. All three goats have responded very well. they were initially clouded over and totally white. They say that no matter what your course of treatment pinkeye will last three weeks and that your just trying to stop a secondary infecion. This protocol worked well for usand I hope it helps you as well. One final comment (Make sure you use gloves and wash well afterward, and don't cross contaminate betwwen goats)
