Goat's cough

I recently leased a part boer billy as an aid in
raising larger goats. A day or two after putting him in with my goats I noticed he had a recurring cough. None of my goats had ever had a cough. I've
now had him for about two months and he still has a cough as does one of mine. Question: How serious is this coughing and what might be the cause. I realize that any answers I receive are probably a "best guess" without being able to see the goats.
However, opinions will be appreciated. I'm a novice goat keeper. Many thanks. Ken
