For a while here in CT, we starting to like winter more then spring.
Well, teh weather did finally turn around for the better as we've had a few nice 65 degree days, buds staring, daffodils out, grass is starting to green and then we had our first thunderstorm of the new year.
I had come home from campus early - decided that being covered in placenta from a cow that just calved at work wasnt the best way to walk to class so I went home, figured geeze I'll get some time to finish up my fence.. Got in checked e-mail and then it got quiet and dark. the dog didnt want to go out.. ok.. about a few seconds later the skies start pouring.. 1/4" hail is pelting EVERYTHING! It lasted for like 10 minutes.. wow..
So.. tonight.. winter again? Not sure if its sleet, hail, or freezing rain but the ground is crunchie again.. yuckie!
Guess the time change for daylight savings time begins this weekend. Dont forget to change the clocks.. dont want to get the goats all worried now.. lol...
