I think I spelled that right. I bought two boer cross kids from a big goat dairy. They developed diarrhea a day after I brought them home. I treated them with Tribrissen oral medication and they got better. A friend of mine bought 7 little bucks from the same place and almost lost them to the diarrhea too. I just got an email from the breeder and it seems that she sold one of her kids to a friend and her friends child got sick. The dr. did a culture of the child and it turns out the goat gave the child the cryptosporidia. It causes diarrhea in young goats and kills very quickly if not treated with the same stuff you would treat cocci with. Albon does the job really quick. Anyway, I thought I would pass this gem on to any of you that may develop diarrhea in young goats. Mine were only 3 to 4 days old when this happened. Dalice
