You know when you mentioned that you were giving potatoes, I meant to tell you that I thought I had read somewhere that they were poison, but then reconsidered, thinking maybe I'd mixed it up with something else. Guess not. As far as the baking soda goes...you just give it free choice as you do minerals. Just pour some in a bucket and leave it for them to eat as they wish. If they need it, they will consume it. Good luck, and keep us posted!
