Some of you will remember my attempt to get Goat Nutri-Drench available through GoatWorld - well, unfortunately the company (Bovidr)was not willing to give me enough of a deal to make it worthwhile or at a price that we could afford or be willing to pay. But, I do have a new product that I will be making available for anyone that needs it - Goat Colostrum (specifically stated on the label). It comes in a powdered form and can be mixed to provide colostrum immediately to any kids that need it. Purina-Mills research has recently revealed that a kid was believed to need colostrum within 24 hours. That was later changed to within the first 12 hours. Now, it is believed that colostrum is needed within the first 30 to 60 minutes. It does make sense. I've lost more kids that were slow to find the "faucets of life" rather than getting colostrum within minutes after being kidded.
Anyway, I will have this available soon and the cost will be $16.00 (shipping included). Hopefully you won't ever need it but it will be available just in case. This is not a colostrum supplement - it is a direct, natural replacement for colostrum. A good idea is to milk off a little of your your kidding does colostrum and freeze it for emergencies - this is the ideal way of course. But not all of us are so lucky. Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'll have it ready to go very soon.
